Lucas was an amazing guide and an amazing dude!! Would totally recommend Northwoods Adventure to anyone who wants an amazing white water rapids experience. Service is great and the rapids are legit. The rapids will definitely give you an adrenaline rush! Lucas was very excited about his work which made the trip super enjoyable. 5 stars hands down!

Northwoods Adventures provided a great experience for our family! McKenzie provided an excellent description up front of what we would experience - and the river was great! you start out slow, scenic, serene; then some smaller rapids, and obviously two trips through the incredible gorge! I never knew that you could find that kind of water in the UP! Our groups guide, McKenzie, is obviously very passionate about the sport, the area, and Northwoods Adventures! all of the staff were great - what a bunch of characters! there is no lack of personality! thank you for a great experience! go team chipmunk!
First time rafters here. We had group of twelve, with ages ranging from 9 to mid-forties. Our whole party had a blast. Weather was fabulous. Mid 80's outside and high 60's in the water. Abosultely Gorgeous!!! A shout out to raft guides Lucas and Mackenzie... they both rocked!!!
With a large group of older Girl Scouts, Northwoods did an amazing job in making accommodations (for high water levels and time frames) for our outing. High adrenaline and attention to safety made this a most memorable adventure. Ed's knowledge and experience were extensively utilized. Christopher, Austin, Steve, Lucas and Matt ensured every raft and every girl would become white water rafting addicts! Definitely a must go for any group looking for adventure!
