They answered their phone and were able to give me an appointment right away.(if you live in the UP, you know that this doesnt happen) I had a pedicure and gel manicure by Mimi who was friendly, fast and did excellent work!!! My nails are beautiful! Mimi was recommended to me by a friend and I in return will recommend her to anyone in need of a mani/pedi!
They are always very nice and welcoming. I have Kim doing my Shellac nails and pedicures. I love the Shellac!
I routinely get a mani-pedi every 3 weeks where I live in GA and this is by far the worst experience I've had. After getting a pedicure here, I had to repeat it as soon as I returned home to remove my cuticles and calluses. The staff was RUDE and a complete pedicure was done in less than 30 minutes. There was no leg scrub, no softening agents, no hot towels. Next time I visit the UP I will find a different nail spa or will get it done before I leave.
I've gone here for years. Both walk-ins and appointments are welcomed. My sister recently brought me for manicures and pedicures, the only issue we had was that we had a total of 4 different people working on us so leaving a decent tip was difficult. Prices seem a little high compared to other places I've been, but they've always done a good job on my nails.
I'm not sure why this place got such garbage reviews, I travel for work all the time and was nervous about coming because of what I read. I would probably make the 8 Hour drive again simply to get my nails done here. I get a difficult shape that other techs tend to drop the ball on, and always request they be done thin as well as shellac. Not only was the shape perfect, they were so thin they could be confused for natural. The gel polish looks like glass, no streaks, no overlap. She was METICULOUS in her every action and even stayed past close to finish them. So don't let these reviews scare you. Best nails EVER.
